<p>PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which is easy in production, is low in cost, has high speed response performance and excellent dependency on angles of view, decreases the variations in electrical characteristics (more particularly the threshold voltage) among varistor elements with respect to the performance of the many (usually enormous number of) the varistor elements provided on the liquid crystal display device and has eventually excellent image quality. CONSTITUTION:An overvoltage is applied at least one to at least a part of the varistor elements among the varistor element groups formed by baking after patterning and thereafter, these varistor elements are baked again in the process for production of the liquid crystal display device constituted by electrically disposed in series and connecting the varistor elements to be used as active matrix elements and liquid crystal picture elements between signal electrode and scanning electrodes.</p> |
