PURPOSE:To provide a speed change operating device for a bicycle compact and easy to see the display of speed change stages. CONSTITUTION:A speed change stage display device 20 is formed independently as a separate body from a speed change operating device body 10 with speed change levers 11, 12, and fitted to a handle bar 3. The display device is linked with the winding body of the speed change operating device body 10 by a link cable in a cable path 6, and the pointer 22 of the display device 20 can be operated in association with speed change operation performed by the speed change levers 11, 12. |
