PURPOSE:To provide the title foam having improved resistance to mildews, bacteria, etc., and being usable for applications where antibacterial properties are required. CONSTITUTION:The production process either comprises kneading a pulp containing a regenerated pulp with a biodegradable thickener, a decomposable blowing agent, water and optionally an antibacterial substance, molding the resulting mixture, foaming the molding by heating, and drying the foamed molding or comprises mixing under agitation a pulp containing a regenerated pulp with a biodegradable thickener, a surfactant and water to form a foam, adding an antibacterial substance to the foam, molding the mixture, and drying the molding. |
