<p>PURPOSE:To provide the coordinate detector which can reduce an ineffective area and can miniaturize the entire configuration. CONSTITUTION:A detection guide line 10 in an X axis direction is laid, and a coordinate detection effective area A is set. A boundary line between the coordinate detection effective area and the coordinate detection ineffective area is shown by a broken line. One area judge guide line 20 is arranged while being bent so as to surround the boundary line. When any arbitrary position is instructed by a coordinate indicator, voltage detection parts 2 and 22 detect the induced voltages of the detection guide line 10 and the area judge guide line 20, comparators 3 and 23 respectively compare them with a set voltage and when either voltage is at least higher than the set voltage, it is judged that the position exists in the coordinate detection effective area.</p> |
