PURPOSE:To prevent generation of shock and abnormal noises due to excessive extension or shrinkage of a shock absorber, improve the control responsiveness and the durability of an actuator, and save the power consumption. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle suspension device is provided with a damping characteristic control means (f) having a basic control part (e) to control a shock absorber (a) to the extension side hard region when the control signal based on the vertical sprung speed is positive, to control a shock absorber (b) to the compression side hard region when the control signal is negative, and to control the shock absorber (b) to the soft region when the control signal is zero, and a correction control part (g) which is mounted on the damping characteristic control means (f) and synthesizes the value of the relative displacement to be exceeded into the control signal at the specified magnification ratio when the relative displacement between the sprung displacement and the unsprung displacement exceeds the specified threshold. |
