PURPOSE:To easily control light in DC lighting by changing the impedance value of an element or circuit having impedance stepwise by the use of a load time tap switching device. CONSTITUTION:The impedance value of an element or circuit having impedance provided to cope with the negative characteristic of discharge of a fluorescent lamp 4 at DC lighting is controlled stepwise by the use of a change-over switch 2 as a load time tap switching device. In order to smoothly perform the pole change of the lamp 4 even when the lamp current is controlled, 'rapid start' type is mainly used. Denoted at 3 is a bridge, 5 is a lamp current smoothing capacitor, 6 is a lamp current smoothing coil, and 8 is an electrode heating transformer. |
