<p>PURPOSE:To enable the automatic output of a page image simply when a recording medium recorded with the data on an already edited layout and the data on the material thereof in a prescribed shape is inserted into a medium drive. CONSTITUTION:The material data and layout data necessary for plate making of the page images are previously recorded on the recording medium. Further, an output instruction file 1 housing the reference data (file name, etc.) indicating the presence positions of such data are previously recorded by a prescribed name (AUTOOUT) on the recording medium. Whether the output instruction file having the prescribed name (AUTOOUT) exists on the recording medium or not is retrieved when the recording medium is set in a medium drive. The contents of the output instruction file are read out if the output instruction file exists. The material data and the layout data are then read out in accordance with the reference data stored into the output instruction file and the image output is executed by a recorder.</p> |
