The high speed rotary shears for cutting off the non-standard ends of wire from wire rolling equipment includes a guide for separating the cut section from the remainder of the wire. Inside a space between the two sides (3) of the guide, is a vertically sliding element (6) controlling the transfer of the unwanted, cut-off part from the remainder of the wire. This has two symmetrical wedge-shaped portions (4) controlling the movement of the unwanted part from the conveying path. Each portion consists of two channels (2,5) for the wanted and unwanted parts of the wire, which join each other. They include holes in the outlet portions, through the fixed sides, changing into slots in the opposite direction to the travel of the wire.
