CATIONIC DIQUATERNARY AMMONIUM SALT FUNCTIONAL SILICONES Described herein are compounds of the formula <IMG> in which R is an alkyl radical having from one to six carbon atoms, a benzyl radical C6H5CH2- or the radical -(CH2)2OH; Xis halogen selected from the group consisting of chloride, bromide and iodide or CH3OSO3; and y is an integer having a value of from four to eleven. These compounds have utility as fabric softening and fabric conditioning agents.
