PURPOSE: To reduce noises and to increase the load capacity by easy control by offsetting the teeth of meshing elements so that radial resultant force of active force between a crown gear and satellite gears and active force between the satellite gears and the planetary gear may be applied toward the previously selected direction. CONSTITUTION: A meshing element of a reduction gear is constituted of a planetary gear 7, satellite gears 8, 9 and a crown gear 12. The teeth of respective gears 7 to 9 and 12 are deviated so that radial resultant force of force acting between the crown gear 12 and the satellite gears 8, 9 and force acting between the satellite gears 8, 9 and the planetary gear 7 may be applied to the planetary gear 7 in the first stage for rotating at maximum speed, and in the third stage to the weakest meshing element namely, to the crown gear 12. In the second stage, resultant force is applied to the planetary gear 7 or the crown gear 12 according to whether either the reduction of noise and the increase of load capacity is made to given priority, and the satellite gears 8, 9 are freely floated. If resultant force is applied to the planetary gear 7, noise is reduced. |
