PURPOSE:To provide a charged roller and manufacture thereof, excellent in durability without decreasing image quality against some flaws. CONSTITUTION:In a charged roller 20, non-conductive fillers 22 are so distibuted that the closer to the outer peripheral side of a conductive rubber material 23, the higher density, that is, the outer peripheral part of the conductive rubber material 23 is in the non-conductive state. That is the, inner peripheral side of the conductive rubber material 23 is in the low-resistance state, but the outer periphral side is in the high-resistance state (for example, the resistiveity is 10<5>OMEGA/cm). Thereby the outer peripheral front surface of a photoreceptor drum pressed on and come in contact with this charged roller 20 can be uniformly charged by applying the voltage of 1 to 2KV to a roller shaft 21. |
