VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of slip friction of the butt end of a coil spring through the force of which a bush is energized. CONSTITUTION:A variable displacement type compressor comprises a bush 12 fitted in a drive shaft 6 and pivotally supported through spherical band fit-in of a rotary swash plate 14; and a coil spring 13 through the force of which the bush 12 is axially energized. By physically constraining relative rotational movement between the bush 12 and a rotational drive system element, the twist of the coil spring 13 and slip wear of a butt end are prevented from occurring.
