<p>An endoscope (10) includes a handle body (12) having first and second ends and having a channel region (14) therein with the channel (14) being exposed on at least one side of the handle body. A cover (16) is disposed on the handle body (12) with a portion of the cover (16a) disposed over the exposed region of the channel (16). An end piece (22) is disposed over the first end of the handle body (12) and a first tube (38) having a channel (42) provided therein is coupled to the second end of the handle body (12). The endoscope (10) further includes a sheath (44) disposed over the first tube (38) and removably coupled to a first one of the tube (38) and the second end of the handle body (12).</p> |
