<p>PURPOSE:To provide a run length data magnification device in which a segmented picture with high quality is obtained in a short time. CONSTITUTION:The processing is made up of a step Sr8 in which a link element with a duplicate run length element included in adjacent lines of run length data is detected, a step Sr5 in which a run length element of each line is magnified in an extension direction of a line in response to the designated magnification, and a step Sr10 in which a new line is interpolated between run length elements forming the link element in response to the designated magnification and spreading differences between run length elements forming the magnified link element in the step Sr5 into run length elements of each line to be interpolated. Thus, mask data expressed by run length data are processed into data with high resolution in a short time.</p> |
