<p>PURPOSE:To provide a developer for developing electrostatic charge image which has excellent developing characteristics, especially superior, inhibitory effect on the selective development and is appropriately, used for the image forming method using an organic photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The developer for developing electrostatic charge image features that it comprises: (1) an insulating toner which has 4 to 12mum weight average particle size (t-D4) and 1 to 10mum length average particle size (t-D1), wherein the ratio of (t-D1)/(t-D1) is 1.01 to 2; (2) a fluidizing agent which is charged in the same polarity as that of the insulating toner and has a >=30m<2>/g specific surface area determined by the BET method based on N2 adsorption; (3) an inorganic fine powder which is charged in the opposite polarity to that of the insulating toner and has 0.6 to 5mum weight average particle size (m-D4) and 0.5 to 4mum length average particle size (m-D1), wherein the ratio of (m D4)/(m-D1) is 1.0 to 2.4 and also (m-D4)/(m-D1) >=(t-D4)/(t-D1); and (4) an organic fine powder which is charged in the opposite polarity to that of the insulating toner and has <=0.8mum length average particle size (P-D1).</p> |
