<p>A process is disclosed for soldering a car body supporting frame. Columns A, B and C, and the roof supporting longitudinal beam are soldered together by means of butt joints. The joints are soldered by means of an electron-beam welding machine. The electron-beam welding machine and the joint to be soldered are moved in relation to each other in at least one direction. Preferably, the electron-beam welding machine is moved and the joint to be welded is oriented in such a way that the longitudinal direction of the welding seam extends substantially in the advance direction of the electron-beam welding machine.</p> |
