<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the circuitry by performing no adjustment on a coordinate pointer, to simplify the production process, and to enable the long and stable operation in the wireless coordinate reader. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate pointer 8 is provided with a resonance circuit. A coordinate detection circuit 5 gives selection signals 105 and 106 to the 1st and 2nd scanning circuits 1 and 2 and successively scans the sense line groups S1 and S2. When the coordinate pointer 8 comes closer to the sense line groups S1 and S2, they and an amplifier 3 make a positive feedback circuit and an oscillation signal 101 is generated. The amplitude of an input signal 102 coupled to the 2nd sense line group S2 through a resonance circuit has the specified position information of the coordinate pointer 8 so that a coordinate detection circuit 5 inputs it and calculate the specified position. The coordinate detection circuit 5 controls the selection time of the sense line by the amplitude information.</p> |
