GRILL FIXING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To eliminate a welding when a grill holding frame is fixed to an opening of a top plate. CONSTITUTION:A grill 6 is installed at an opening arranged at an outer installing plate 2 of an air conditioner or the like through a holding frame 4. The holding frame 4 is comprised of an end frame member 41 having an end wall 41a and a side wall 41b installed at an end part of the opening; and an intermediate frame member 42 cooperatively connected to the side wall 41b of the end frame member 41 and installed at a long side part of the opening. Then, the end frame member 41 has an engaging part 41e at its outer surface which is engaged with an opening edge 31 of the opening under utilization of a resilient deformation of the member. The intermediate frame member 42 has at its outer surface 42a a groove 42b engaged with the opening edge 31 of the opening 3, and at least an inner surface 42c of the intermediate frame member 42 is provided with a holding part 42d for holding the grill 6.
