<p>The feeder equipment for machines for fixing socks comprises an auxiliary turntable that is fitted with a rotating platform, having at least one pair of tubular formers, for checking the socks. The said auxiliary turntable can be driven in steps corresponding with a control station for the socks and a station for extracting the said socks. A turntable on the fixing machine drives in steps a number of fixing formers in a station for the insertion of the socks, adjacent to the said extraction station of the auxiliary turntable. A robot unit is fitted with a guided frame running vertically between a lower position and a raised position and carries a pair of clamps for handling the socks that can oscillate between a position aligned with the extraction station and a position aligned with the station for insertion of the socks into the said fixing formers. The said clamps are able to operate in an ascending stroke to extract the socks from the said tubular formers and in a descending stroke to insert the said socks into the fixing formers. <IMAGE></p> |
