PURPOSE:To keep good image quality by ensuring airtightness at the time of capping and preventing the adhesion of waste refuse by attaching a plate to an ink jet recording head so as to surround an ink emitting element. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording head 100, a base 110 functioning as a heat sink and the ink emitting element 120 bonded to the attaching part formed to the front end of the base 110 by an adhesive are provided. A substrate 130 transmitting a recording signal to the ink emitting element 120 is provided on the base 110 and connected to the ink emitting element 120 by a bonding wire 132. An ink supply member 140 is bonded to the upper surface of the base 110 and the front part of the base 110 supporting the ink emitting element 120 and that of the ink supply member 140 are covered with a plate 140. By this constitution, airtightness at the time of capping is ensured and the plate is constituted of an antistatic molded product to prevent the adhesion of waste refuse. |
