摘要 <p>A hollow cylindrical generator rotor 6 is mounted on an input shaft 2 which is connected to an internal combustion engine and a hollow cylindrical electric motor rotor 7 is mounted to an output shaft 3, both rotors 6, 7 having on their inside permanent magnets which are distributed over the circumference and have alternating polarity. In addition, a stator 10 with at least one switchable short-circuit winding 11 is provided, in which the short-circuit winding is arranged so as to be axially displaceable over wide ranges under the permanent magnets 8, 9 of the rotors 6, 7 by means of a guide and displacement device 12, 13, 15. With the aid of magnetic field sensors 23, 10 24 (Fig 8) between the permanent magnets 8, 9, the polarity of permanent magnets which are located opposite one another can be determined and the short-circuit line 11 can be closed or opened as a function of the sensor signals so as to control the direction of rotation of the output shaft 3 whilst the positioning of the shortcircuit winding under the permanent magnets 8, 9 of the motor rotor or generator rotor determines the rotational speed and the output torque of the output shaft 3. The rotors are disposed so the respective magnet assemblies are arranged axially. <IMAGE></p>
