PURPOSE:To efficiently prevent a foreign matter from entering in a bezel from the outside by providing a flexible shielding plate near an opening part for inserting a light box. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display unit 1 and a driving circuit board 5 for the liquid crystal display unit 1 are incorporated, fixed and heled in the bezel 4 and completed as a partially fabricated item. The opening part 6 for inserting the light box 3 in which a light source functioning as an illuminator and a light diffusing plate uniformly adjusting the light from the light source are incorporated is provided at one end of the bezel 4. Then, the flexible shielding plate 7 is provided at the end of the opening part 6 of the bezel 4 so as to close the opening part 6. Therefore, the shielding plate 7 is bent inside to press the light box 3 with fixed pressure as the light box 3 is inserted int the bezel 4. By such pressing force, the foreign matter such as dust stuck to the surface of the light box 3 is prevented from entering in the bezel 4 because of the brush action of the shielding plate 7. |
