<p>PURPOSE:To prevent dust collection effects from deteriorating due to the rescattering of dust by providing a gas current shut-off means which can move level in a specified direction and also can be arranged near the terminal of the upstream side of a gas current at a dust collection electrode or near the terminal of the downstream side, and which shuts off the gas current running through a space held by the dust collection electrodes of a dust collection electrode group. CONSTITUTION:At least, a single dust collection electrode group is provided which is composed of flat plate-like dust collection electrodes 1, each having a facing arranged in a gas current direction and being aligned at a specified interval and almost in parallel with the other, in a specified direction crossing the gas current direction, and is housed in a dust collection container 16. In addition, a discharge electrode 2 from which a specified direct current voltage is applied to the dust collection electrode 1 is arranged in a space held by the dust collection electrodes 1 of the dust collection electrode group. In addition, a dust removal means 17 for removing the captured dust is provided on the dust collection electrode 1. Further, a shut-off means 11 is provided which can move level in a specified direction and can be arranged near the terminal of the upstream side or the terminal of the downstream side of the gas current at the dust collection electrode to shut off the gas current running in the space held by the dust collection electrodes.</p> |
