BONDING OF WATER BARRIER SHEETS

PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a bonded part and to prevent the leakage of water from the bonded part by reinforcing bonding strength due to an adhesive in a method bonding water barrier sheets composed of usual rubber or synthetic resin having no self-repairing property by an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The end parts or side edges of two water barrier sheets 10A, 10B composed of usual rubber or synthetic resin and reinforced by fiber sheets 12 are bonded by an adhesive 13 and, next, the bonded part is sewn by sewing thread 14 and a waterproof sealant is applied to the surface of the sewn part of the water barrier sheets to form a waterproof film 15.
