PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle pneumatic tire having an asymmetrical tire tread composed of at least two tread bands made of different materials. CONSTITUTION: A tread 10 is divided in an axial direction, and the tread band 10.2 of a vehicle outer side having a width equal to 20 to 25% of a tire traveling road contact area L is only about 70% of abrasion capacity compared with the remaining tread area 10.2 according to the Rule of German Industrial Standard 53516. Thus, especially the life of a tire for a semi-trailer or a trailer having a multiaxial unit not operated on a rear axis is prolonged.
