PURPOSE: To provide a light emitting diode array which has a higher dicing yield and a higher wire bonding yield which usually decrease along with the increase in the density of luminous dots of the LED array. CONSTITUTION: In a light emitting diode array 1 wherein many luminous dots 2, luminous sections, are arranged at equal intervals in line or zigzag, electrode patterns 3 are extracted on line at the upper and the lower side or either side of the light emitting dots at intervals twice those of the light emitting dots 2. The intervals between a few leftmost and rightmost electrode patterns 3 are a little smaller than those of the other electrode patterns 3. |
