<p>PURPOSE: To make a time of a fermentation stage longer and to improve a treating rate of an org. waste water by using granule as a microorganisms contributing to the fermentation in a batch wise methane fermentation. CONSTITUTION: A waste water is charged into a methane fermentation tank 1, and an agitator 2 installed at the methane fermentation tank 1 is operated only at the fermentation stage in one cycle. In this stage, granule (granular methane fermentation bacteria) 1 is brought into contact with an org. waste water to decompose an org. matter in the waste water to gaseous methane and gaseous CO2 by a function of the granule 1. In a standing stage, the granule 5 is precipitated to a bottom part of the fermentation tank 1 by gravity. A supernatant liquor 4 separated at the standing stage is discharged as a treated water. In this way, a time of the fermentation stage is made longer and the treating rate of the org. waste water is improved.</p> |
