PURPOSE: To obtain a leg part mechanism of a bathtub, which facilitates to adjust the height of the bathtub, and has an excellent impact resistance, by fixing leg parts made by a method wherein a plurality of bowl-like leg members are pile up with a visco-elastic body held therebetween, to the reverse surface of the bathtub. CONSTITUTION: A leg part 2 comprises leg members 21, 21' and a visco-elastic body 22 made of a butyl rubber sheet. The leg member 21 comprises a top board part 211 and a side wall part 212. On the surface of the top board part 211, an indented channel 213 for fitting onto a projected streak 11 formed on the reverse surface of a bathtub 1, is formed. The side wall part 212 is formed to be a downwardly widening and gently sloping surface. The leg member 21' is equivalent to the leg member 21. On the top board part 211' of the leg member 21', the visco-elastic body 22 with a thickness for the needed adjustment of height, is put, and thereon, the leg member 21 is piled up to assemble the leg part 2. Thus, the leg members 21, 21' and the visco elastic body are adhered by adhesives. The leg part 2 assembled in this way, is fixed to the reverse surface of the bathtub 1 by using adhesives, with the indented channel 213 on the top board part 211 fitted onto the projected streak 11. |
