<p>PURPOSE: To provide a folding type winding tool for flexible lengthy matter which can minimize the storing space and improve the working efficiency at the delivery of an extension cord, never obstruct the work in a construction site, and can prevent the heating of the extension cord. CONSTITUTION: A first main stay 21 having first and second arm parts 31, 32 and a second main stay 22 having third and fourth arm parts 33, 34 are rotatably mounted on a rotating shaft 13. The top end vicinities of first and second auxiliary stays 41, 42 the base ends of which are pivotally fixed to prescribed positions of the first and third arm parts are pivotally fixed to each other, and the top end vicinities of third and fourth auxiliary stays 43, 44 the base ends of which are pivotally fixed to prescribed positions of the second and fourth arm parts are pivotally fixed to each other.
