<p>PURPOSE: To assemble a disc brake by advancedly bringing a piston into a caliper linearly from an oblique upside. CONSTITUTION: A flank 20 to gradually enlarge the width of a recess 9 is provided at the tip part of a pair of pawl parts 8 of a caliper 1 supported floatably by a carrier. A piston 2 is advanced linearly from an oblique upside into a caliper 1 with the relief surface 20 used as a guide according to the movement of a robot for assembling the piston 2 inside the bore of the caliper 1.</p> |
