PURPOSE: To obtain an aerosol container eliminating a need of a bottom hole for a propellant and a production method therefor. CONSTITUTION: An aerosol container consists of a closed-end cylindrical container body 2 having a curled part 2b on the upper end thereof and a piston cup 10 sliding in the container body 2. The piston cup 10 consists of a head part 11 partitioning the inside of the container body 2, a side part 13b formed continuously to the head part 11 and slid along the inner peripheral surface of the container body 2, and a leg part 12 formed vertically downwards from the center of the rear surface of the head part 11. When the leg part 12 is positioned on the bottom part of the container body 2, a gap as a propellant flow path is formed between the lower end of the side part 13b of the piston cup 10 and the bottom of the container body 2. Since the head part is supported by the leg part, the outer edge part of the side part is elastically deformed inwards to produce a gap between the side part and the inner peripheral surface of the container body when a propellant is injected into the container body. Through the gap, a propellant flows into. In this manner, a need of a bottom hole for charging a propellant to the bottom part of the container can be eliminated, and a need of a leakage inspection on the sealed part of the bottom hole can be eliminated. |
