FIELD: power engineering; wind-electric and hydroelectric plants, transport. SUBSTANCE: converter has truss with vertical shaft mounted there for turning and carrying horizontal crosspieces in tier-by-tier arrangement with hinged members; every bottom pair of crosspieces is turned in horizontal relative to top one and each hinged member is built up of pair of streamlined gauze frames secured for relative displacement along crosspiece. Frames are covered with gauzes having different mesh size. One of gauzes located on external side is supporting gauze and has smaller mesh size. Internal gauze with larger mesh size is provided with wing members fixed on one of sides of each mesh. Each wing member is made of flexible material whose size corresponds to mesh size. Wing members incorporated in wind-electric power plant have shown reliable operation in all weather conditions. EFFECT: improved efficiency of wind and water energy utilization, improved operating reliability of converter. |
