METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ROLLING OF MULTISTAGE MILL

PURPOSE: A method for controlling rolling of a multistage mill is provided to maintain the optimum roll crown and a balance of load by preventing the change, or distortion of a width directional profile of material, unbalance of width directional thickness or inferiority of shape by transforming crown of roll by applied load. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling rolling of a multistage mill includes the steps of performing shape-learning during performing an adaptive function including roll cap and roll pressure learning in a normal case of rolling work, setting initial control value on the basis of a result of the shape-learning after managing files of a learning result of a TDRL step, and transmitting the set initial control value to a program logic controller and returning to the first step.
