The invention relates to the use of dihydroxyacetone for improving the skin adhesion of amine-contain-ing sunscreen filters, and to a container system for applying a sunscreen composition having improved skin adhesion, which has the following constituents: (a) a chamber containing a fluid or pasty composition comprising dihydroxyacetone (b) a chamber containing a fluid or pasty composition comprising an amine-containing sunscreen filter (c) a device for the simultaneous application of the compositions of the first and the second chambers.
