The test tube used is provided with a vacuum and a hose treated against coagulation connects to the blood vessel of the patient. Working with the hose is an electromagnetically activated clamp unit (1) which in the inactivate state clamps the hose together so that no blood flow occurs. It is intermittently opened and activated, and closed and inactivated to allow a flow through the hose controlled by time as the parameter. The clamp unit works with an electronic timer (4) which determines the activation times and a second timer (6) which determines the time interval between activating periods. This means that the total flow to the test tube dependent upon the pressure difference between the blood vessel of the patient and the pressure in the test tube can be controlled. |
