PURPOSE: To manufacture a high-quality color filter by accurately transferring colorant on a transfer film to a color filter substrate and preventing the occurrence of defect. CONSTITUTION: As for this transfer device provided with a supplying part A supplying the transfer film 10, a transferring part D transferring the colorant to the substrate GB from the film 10 by means of an embossing member 50, and an ejecting part E ejecting a supported film after transferring is finished; an attracting mechanism attracting the film 10 on the member 50 of the part D is provided. Transferring is performed in a state where the film 10 is fixed on the member 50 so as to prevent the film 10 from being shifted, so that only the colorant corresponding to a protruding part 50a can be accurately transferred on the substrate GB. |
