PURPOSE: To improve precision by making an exposure level constant irrespective of a transfer speed of a radiation beam by a method wherein a modulation means modulating an intensity of the radiation beam while it is controlled in manufacture of a three dimensional rigid body by irradiating a liquid photosetting composition with the radiation beam to be optically set. CONSTITUTION: A radiation beam which is emitted from a radiation emitting device 10 is modulated by a modulator 14 which modulates an intensity of the radiation beam 12 from almost zero to the maximum value. Thereafter, it passes a deflection means 16. The deflection means 16 includes mirrors 20, 22. The mirrors 20, 22 for respective X and Y directions, deflect the beam toward a specific position of the liquid photosetting composition 40 contained in a container 44 while the beam is controlled by a vector scan mode. A movable table 41 as a setting means is provided in the container 41, and its position is accurately controlled. Further, a second computer control means 34 is connected to a first computer control means 30, and controls the modulator 14 and the deflection means 16. |
