<p>PURPOSE: To provide the portable telephony equipment with facsimile function with which operability is improved and reception sensitivity and a transmission output are not lowered even in any using state. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the portable telephony equipment provided with facsimile function which is constituted to perform the transmission/reception of facsimile from an antenna 104 through a radio channel by providing a rectangular input display device 101 for handwriting/inputting image data to perform facsimile transmission and for displaying received facsimile image data, the equipment is provided with a detection switch 106 and control means 121, 122 and 119 so as to set a portable telephone mode when the antenna 104 is turned toward the direction matched with the lengthwise direction of the input display device but to set a facsimile mode when the antenna is turned vertically to the lengthwise direction of the input display device.</p> |
