FIELD: manufacture of glass materials. SUBSTANCE: lamellar bullet-resistant glass consists of a packet containing at least two silicate glass sheets covered on the two sides with polymer films. Invention is distinguished with that surfaces of polymer films of adjacent layers tightly contact with each other across all area, and on the end surface of packet, there is means to seal interlayer seams from outside environment, whereas the end itself is inclosed into a casing embracing it along all its perimeter. To manufacture such a glass, the packet is assembled with at least two glass sheets preliminarily covered with polymer films, which are pressed until tight contact between adjacent polymer films is achieved, whereupon interlayer end seams are sealed and layers are fixed to prevent their mutual longitudinal displacement. EFFECT: achieved tighter assemblage of separate glass sheets. 5 cl |
