<p>A monoclonal antibody which enables immunological assay of human serum amyloid A (SAA) which serves as a marker for inflammation, etc. on the basis of the agglutination reaction thereof; an immunological assay reagent containing the monoclonal antibody; and an immunological assay method with the use of the monoclonal antibody. The immunological assay method with the use of the agglutination reaction of SAA has an improved specificity and the reagent has stabilized qualities. Thus, it has become possible to immunologically assay SAA based on its agglutination reaction by using the monoclonal antibody, different from the conventional methods with the use of polyclonal antibodies which can scarcely give a high specificity and the uniform qualities of which can be hardly maintained.</p> |
