PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech recording device which accurately records an index mark in a silent part and provide a speech reproducing device which detects the recorded index mark corresponding to every index mark position. SOLUTION: Voice information sent from a microphone 1 is distinguished into a voice existing part and a silent part in a specified length unit in a system control part 6 and a digital signal processing part 5, then recorded in a recording medium 7. When the recording of an index mark is instructed to the voice information in the system control part 6, if the instructed voice information has a voice, an index mark is recorded in the silent part position in the vicinity of the voice existing part. When the voice information recorded in the recording medium 7 is reproduced, the recorded index mark is detected in the system control part 6, and if the recording position exists in the voice existing part, the adjacent silent part in the front of the voice existing part is selected and automatically reproduced from the silent part position in the digital signal processing part 5. |
