PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin moisture measuring method and an inexpensive measuring instrument for measuring the quantity of moisture in the skin with high reproducibility. SOLUTION: This skin moisture measuring instrument has an impressing electrode 5 for impressing an AC voltage to the skin and an electric field detecting electrode 6 for detecting an electric field generated by the voltage impressed through this impressing electrode to the skin. The AC voltage is impressed to the skin by the impressing electrode, the electric field generated on the skin by this voltage is detected by the electric field detecting electrode, this detected signal is amplified, sampled by an amplifier, synchronizing detector and sample/hold 8 and A/D converted by an A/D converter 9 and, based on the signal from the A/D converter, a micro-CPU 10 performs transformed matrix operation or multivariate analysis. |
