<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent production of useless power consumption by stopping the application of an image clock signal to a processing block not in use in the standby state and in various operation modes. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an image processing means (not shown) having each processing block receiving image data from a scanner or an external device to apply optional image processing to the image data, with an MPU 210 outputting data to select application/inhibit of the image clock signal, and with a supply/inhibit signal generating section 302 generating a signal to inhibit the application of the image clock signal to a processing block not relating to the image processing by the image processing means.</p> |
