<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a head to be a large size and a shaft to be a long size to increase moment of inertia to carry a ball farther, by using a quenched Al based alloy as the face part material of a golf club head made of a hollow metal. SOLUTION: This hollow metallic golf club head has a face part 1, crown part 2, sole part 3, shaft part 4, and hosel part 5, and the face part thereof is made of a quenched AL based alloy. Thus, the bending when the head hits a ball is little to carry the ball far away without reducing the initial speed. Since the head is light, the size can be made larger, and, even if the length of the shaft is extended. perspective feeling is not disturbed. Consequently, a longer shaft can be used and it cause to increase centrifugal force of the head speed on hitting and the carry is extended.</p> |
