<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an interference between actuators from occurring in a steering device in which a steering input shaft is separated from a steering output means, the steering of a steering input shaft is detected, and the actuators are driven according to the steered amount so as to perform the steering control. SOLUTION: In a steering device in which the steering of a steering wheel 2 is detected by a steering angle sensor 5 and an actuator provided in a steering output means is driven based on the signals output from the steering angle sensor 2 so as to perform steering control, the steering output means is formed with a tie rod 7 and a pinion shaft 12. Also first and second drive motors 14 and 15 are provided as actuators, and one first drive motor 14 is arranged on the tie rod 7, and the second drive motor 15 is arranged on the pinion shaft 12. Thus the first and second drive motors 14 and 15 are not direct-connected coaxially.</p> |
