<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head, usually called an iron, having a super wide area expanded in a sweet area capable of enduring the use for a long period. SOLUTION: A clad material is made of a low specific gravity metal such as titanium, aluminum or these alloys having less than 5.0 of the specific gravity and a base material is made of a high specific gravity metal such as steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel cobalt or these alloys having 7.0 or more of the specific gravity. A clad member connecting the clad material with the base material is disposed on the face position of a head body 2 so that the clad material provides a ball driving surface and the base material of the clad material is connected fixedly to the head body 1.</p> |
