PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent engine driving state even if an exhaust gas recycling apparatus is installed in a diesel engine. SOLUTION: A first representing value which represents the intake gas flow supplied to a cylinder based on the speed of rotation of an engine and the pressure of the intake gas is determined (in a step 102) and the engine is controlled (in steps 103-107) to achieve excellent engine driving state based on the first representing value and the concentration of oxygen in the intake gas detected by an oxygen concentration sensor. |
