The rotary shaft coupling about an axis (106) consists of a driving disc (102) and a driven disc (104), of which one of these pieces is in plastics. The coupling consists of a mortice (110) carried radially on the end of the plastics piece and a tenon carried radially on the end of the other. The mortice contains two walls (126-130) parallel to the axis and facing each other between which is lodged the tenon (108). At least one (129,130) of these walls forms a flexible reaction blade with the tenon in the direction of the other wall (126,127).
