PURPOSE:To perform a sure supply of workpieces as well as to make them so as to be conveyed so stably, in a work feeder for a wide belt sander which uses a work feed belt formed with fitting holes, fitting a small workpiece in this fitting hole, and makes the workpiece so as to be transferred to a belt sanding attachment. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece W is layeredly housed at a frontward position of a belt sanding attachment 6, while a work guide 20 feeding the workpiece W to two fitting holes 19 formed in an endless work feed belt 18 is made contact with both ends of the endless work feed belt 18 of interlocking flange edges 27, 27 installed in the guide roller 26, and since the work guide 20 is made so as to follow after a movement in the cross direction of the endless work feed belt 18, the workpiece W is surely feedable to an inner part of the fitting hole 19 and, what is more, can be fed to the belt sanding attachment 6, thus the efficiency of sanding and polishing is improved. |
