<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage of a sheet by tracking the joint part between rolled stocks from just after joining, acting bender force according to a pattern at the stands of >=1 and executing finish rolling of the unsteady region if the joint part between the rolled stocks. SOLUTION: Both end parts of width of the rear end of a preceding material 10 and the tip part of the succeeding material 12 are butted and both end parts except the middle part of width are joined. At the time of rolling the unsteady region caused by joining before finish rolling, the amount of change of the bender force of a work roll in the rolling of the joint part is calculated from the variation of predicted rolling load and also the changing pattern of the bender force added this amount of change is decided. Next, by tracking the joint part from just after joining, the finish rolling of the unsteady region in the joint part is executed by acting bender force according to the pattern of the bender force at the stands of >=1. In this way, even when the middle part of width is not joined, tensile force is reduced by the change in shape at the time of rolling the joint part, so the breakage of the sheet during rolling is not generated and threading performance is improved.</p> |
